Visit the S.A.D. Cave to explore Winter Coping

Have a friend who might like some time in front of a light therapy lamp? Feeling some winter blues?

The Student Counseling Center is offering two opportunities to visit the brand new Vanders Nook, get cozy, and explore coping with winter weather. Changes in the weather and light can have a notable impact on mental health, so the SCC in encouraging you to visit this comfy cave to explore Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) and learn about ways to manage its impacts.

Visit for: light therapy stations, free snacks and tea, crafts and plants to decorate your room, trail maps and ideas to get outside, and more.
