We hope to see you on Friday, Sept. 25, at 3 p.m. for this year's State of the University! Join President Jenny Coyle in McCready Hall or via Zoom for an employee-focused university update. This year’s update will focus on Pacific’s strategic plan, along with updates on the planned merger with Willamette University. A reception will follow with snacks, selfies with Boxer, and an opportunity to drop off donations for our campus pantries.

Join us for the 62nd Annual Forest Grove Corn Roast on Saturday, September 19, and get involved in one of the community’s biggest events of the year! Volunteers can choose from a variety of roles and shifts between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on College Way, making it a great opportunity to meet new people, connect with the Forest Grove community, and volunteer with friends, roommates, teammates, or club members.

College Way and 21st Avenue will be closed beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, September 18, through 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, for the annual Forest Grove Corn Roast. Pacific students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for parking and travel around campus during this community celebration.

Faculty and staff are required to complete annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training through Vector Solutions LMS. This training will take approximately 30 minutes and provide essential information to help our campus community understand, prevent, and appropriately respond to sexual misconduct.

Pacific University will be welcoming a Peer Evaluation Team from our accrediting body, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), to the Forest Grove campus on Oct 8 & 9 for the Mid-Cycle Visit.

You are invited to participate in the following research study: Exploring the Effects of Participating in a Mindfulness Practice Community on College Educators’ Mental Well-being, conducted by Robbie Pock, doctoral candidate in Pacific University’s PhD in Education and Leadership program, under the supervision of Dr. Mark Szymanski (Primary Investigator).
