Hey Boxers! As October comes to a close, many students begin to feel overwhelmed with the workload during this final stretch. No better way to relieve some stress than by joining Outdoor Pursuits for the final excursions this semester! Click here for more details!
Through November 28, every Boxer Bucks purchase comes with a 10% bonus! Students, faculty, and staff at both Forest Grove and Hillsboro campuses can now easily load funds and enjoy extra savings at dining locations across campus.
Nonstop regularly reviews purchases made with the Nonstop Visa card to confirm acceptable use. This process is called substantiation. Here is a summary of the substantiation process.
Open Enrollment will open in the first week of November. Please watch your emails and E-News for important updates and guidance on how to submit your elections for the 2026 plan year.
The Boxer Journey Restructuring Committee invites you to learn more about our work around academic and career advising, experiential learning, and community engagement in an Oct. 21 Feedback Forum. In this session, open to faculty and staff, and accessible in-person and online, we will share what we have learned, our key recommendations, and our emerging proposed structure to support purpose-oriented learning. Learn more here and plan to join us next week!
We hope to see you at Homecoming 2025 next week! Make sure to check out the schedule and invite family and friends to join the fun as we celebrate all things Pacific. Please also consider joining the Homecoming event staff. There are about 20 slots open and we need all of them filled to make Homecoming a success!
You are invited to an online update by the five non-divisional restructuring committees (Student Academic Achievement Committee, Boxer Journey Committee, Interprofessional/Interdisciplinary Journey Committee, Faculty Excellence, and Staff Excellence) on November 5. These committees will share their ideas and collect additional feedback from employees. There are two sessions to choose from. Additionally, the seven restructuring committees continue to provide a summary of their work every other week.
Join Oregon Public Broadcasting, Pacific University and the Indigenous Student Alliance for an advance screening of the documentary, “Uncovering Boarding Schools,” on Tuesday, Oct. 28. The documentary joins a Klamath Tribe member’s journey as she uncovers her family’s experiences in Native American boarding schools.
