Over the past two decades, the Pacific University MFA in Writing Program has become one of the premier writing programs in the Pacific Northwest.
A community that celebrates writing as an art, with the potential to make a difference in the world, the MFA program connects diverse students from around the world with faculty author mentors and the robust Portland literary community as they hone their craft and share their passion.
MFA in Writing Program Director Scott Korb and founding director Shelley Washburn invite alumni and friends of the program to a special anniversary celebration June 28 in Forest Grove. Held in conjunction with the program’s annual summer residency, this celebration will highlight the successes of the program and its students and alumni over the past 20 years.
