Being a student can come with unexpected challenges and the Office of Student Support (OSS) strives to work in partnership with students to address these barriers to academic success and wellbeing. We advocate for equitable and inclusive student belonging, growth, and enrichment, by providing assistance to students through resource guidance, fostering connections, problem-solving, and making appropriate referrals.
The primary way in which we connect with students in need of support is through the Care Referral Program. Students, faculty, staff, and community members should use our Care Referral form to request academic coaching, or to share concerns about a student’s wellbeing, safety, basic needs, and/or academic challenges. These referrals initiate our outreach efforts and allow us to invite students to engage with services and support tailored to their specific needs.
