The Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree includes completion of one year in the clinical phase of a graduate level physician associate (PA) program plus one semester of DMSc coursework. The clinical phase of the PA program may be completed at Pacific University or at another U.S. ARC-PA accredited PA program with 24 graduate level semester credits of required PA clinical coursework counting toward the DMSc degree requirements.
The 36-credit DMSc Program includes 24 graduate transfer credits from the applicant's PA program and completion of a 12 credit online semester at Pacific University.
