Staff Senate's focus for 2022-23 is Listen, Learn, and Lead. Stay tuned for more information to support this theme.

The Staff Senate typically meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 3 to 5 p.m.  All non-faculty members are invited to attend. 2022-23 Staff Senate meetings will be held both in-person (alternating between Forest Grove and Hillsboro campuses) and on Zoom. View the schedule here.

    The Staff Senate serves as the official representative body of the University staff community by actively participating in campus governance.  The Staff Senate shall foster a spirit of unity and cooperation, providing representation of non-faculty personnel in coordination with the faculty and student governing bodies.  The Staff Senate shall also provide a forum for the exchange of information between members of the staff, administration, faculty and students. — from the University Handbook

    Nominations for staff-at-large positions are being accepted for the Diversity, Finance, Honors & Awards, and Technology committees. Consider nominating yourself or a colleague for these three-year positions, which start in September. 

    Interested in collaborating with employees from across the university and learning more about other areas at Pacific? Consider nominating yourself for a staff-at-large position on a university standing committee. Nominations are being accepted for the Diversity, Finance, Honors and Awards and Technology committees.
