Good Grades Earn you Money

It takes hard work and perseverance to succeed academically. At Pacific University, we want to reward your achievements and make it possible for you to develop your talents even further.

When admitted to Pacific University, freshmen and transfers are automatically considered for renewable merit scholarships.

Freshman Awards
(Annually Renewed)
Founders Award - $24,000 per year
Recipients average a 4.00 GPA and a combined Math and Reading SAT score of 1430 or ACT score of 31.
Honors Award - $21,000 per year
Recipients average a 3.85 GPA and a combined Math and Reading SAT score of 1320 or ACT score of 28.
Presidential Award - $18,000 per year
Recipients average a 3.60 GPA and a combined Math and Reading SAT score of 1210 or ACT score of 25.
Trustee Award - $15,000 per year
Recipients average a 3.40 GPA and a combined Math and Reading SAT score of 1140 or ACT score of 23.
University Award - $12,000 per year
Recipients average a 3.10 GPA and a combined Math and Reading SAT score of 1080 or ACT score of 21.

 

Transfer Awards

Founders Award - $24,000 per year
Recipients average a transfer GPA of 3.80 and higher.
Honors Award - $21,000 per year
Recipients average a transfer GPA between 3.7 and 3.79.
Presidential Award - $18,000 per year
Recipients average a transfer GPA between 3.5 and 3.69.
Trustee Award - $15,000 per year
Recipients average a transfer GPA between 3.3 and 3.49.
University Award - $12,000 per year
Recipients average a transfer GPA between 2.7 and 3.29v

This calculator does not take into consideration any institutional Talent or Special Interest Awards or outside scholarships that you could possibly earn.  If you have any questions, please contact your Admissions Counselor.  

The academic scholarships listed above are for Forest Grove Campus applicants only. For College of Education students in Eugene, scholarship information is available.

FAFSA

If you are interested in applying for need-based financial aid as well, simply submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on or after Oct. 1, and the application for admission to Pacific University by Dec. 1.
