We are excited to invite you to the first session of the CETCI Teaching & Learning After Hours Series! On Wednesday, October 21st, from 5-6 pm, English professor Jenna Thompson will be presenting The Analog Experiment: Supporting Student Writing Development in the Age of AI. The session will be held in the Tran Library on the Forest Grove campus and on Zoom. Here is the session description:

 

What happens when a college writing class goes (mostly) analog? Join Professor Jenna Thompson's Teaching & Learning After Hours session to find out! This presentation will explore Jenna's experiments with in-class writing, Blue Books, hard copies of readings, and less online content as a way of supporting writing and research learning outcomes in the age of AI. 

 

This event will kick off the CETCI Teaching & Learning After Hours Series. Other events in the series will feature faculty and topics presented at the Teaching & Learning Lightning Rounds event this past September.  You can find the full line-up below.
