Clark & Rae Peters Invitational
The Pacific University Forensics team is excited to host the biennial Clark & Rae Peters Speech and Debate Tournament on Saturday, October 24, 2026 and Sunday, October 25, 2026. This tournament will be in-person on Pacific’s Forest Grove, OR campus. We anticipate up to 15 colleges and universities will attend the event this year.
We could use your help as a volunteer or paid judge for all or part of the tournament. Previous experience in speech and debate is not required to judge at this event! Ideally, judges have graduated college (undergraduate or associate degree). However, we can accept grad students and some senior-year undergraduate students.

The tournament will utilize electronic ballots throughout the weekend, so judges will need an electronic device (laptop preferred) to submit their feedback during the competition.
