Come “Bug” Us at Libraries Week 2026!
This October, join the Pacific University Libraries for our 6th annual Libraries Week celebration! This year’s theme is…bugs?!? From Monday, October 5th through Sunday, October 11th, buzz on by the Tran or Hillsboro Campus Library for games, snacks, prizes, and plenty of useful library info! (For better or for worse, there will be no actual bugs, insects, or arachnids at the event)
Tables will be staffed in the Tran Library Monday through Friday from 11am - 2pm, but goodies and informational handouts will be available whenever the libraries are open! Featuring the return of plant pong (where you play to win a free plant!) and the introduction of new whimsical activities, Libraries Week 2026 is sure to bee one of the most ant-icipated events of the season!
Come for the games, prizes, and snacks, and stay to learn about what the libraries have to offer, including:
- Books, movies, music, and e-resources (including items that you request!)
- Peer tutoring
- Moodle help and teaching support
- Research assistance
- And so much more!
Whether you’re a flyer, crawler, or wriggler, we hope you can make your way over to Libraries Week 2026!
