FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS FOOTBALL - 9/4/26

Football is back as the Boxers host their first home football game of the 2026 season against Howard Payne University on Friday, September 4, at 7pm. 

The game will also serve as the rollout of the “On Fridays We Wear Red”  campaign in Athletics. All fans are encouraged to wear Red and show your Boxer Spirit!

Current Pacific University students, faculty, and staff receive free entry (one general admission ticket) by showing their official Boxer ID at the gate. Upgrades for faculty and staff to a reserved seat (Section B & C) are available for $5 to guarantee seating under the stadium cover.

• Tailgating & Parking: Pacific fans are encouraged to join us in M Lot to tailgate with friends and families prior to the game. The tailgate lot opens 3 hours before kickoff and a free parking pass is required.
  
  • Boxer Beer Garden – Please join other faculty, staff, and alumni before the game through halftime. Beer, wine, and cider is available for purchase. The beer garden is open to all guests.
  • Food Carts – Not up for a full tailgate? Food carts are available just outside the stadium for your dining convenience. Concessions are available in the stadium throughout the game as well.
  • NEW THIS YEAR! – Reserve your branded Boxer Tent and table along with a parking spot to avoid the uncertainty of first come first serve parking on game day. The reserved tent row will be closed to cars and allow you more space to celebrate! A 10 x 10 tent and table for your tailgate starts at $50 per game.

• Clear Bag Policy: Pacific University enforces a Clear Bag Policy for entry into Hanson Stadium to enhance public safety.
