Have 45+ credits? Declare your major by March 20th!
If you've completed 45 or more credits, then your deadline to submit a completed major declaration form is Friday, March 20, 2026. This way, you will be fully declared and connected with your major advisor before the April advising cycle.
Declaring your major formally connects you with a faculty advisor, which is an important part of your professional development at Pacific. Your advisor is your primary resource for ensuring you select the correct course sequence, stay on track for all degree requirements, and make efficient use of your time at Pacific while also offering valuable guidance for your career development during college and after graduation.
3 steps to declare your major:
-
Find a faculty advisor in your intended major and ask them to be your major advisor (preferably someone you already know; here’s an example email if contacting a new advisor).
-
Fill out the major declaration form.
-
Sign your declaration form: you will receive an email with a link to review, confirm, and sign your declaration. From there, it will go to your requested advisor for signature.
We are here to help with this process!
