Homecoming 2026 Campus Briefing Book
Homecoming 2026
We invite you to join us as we welcome hundreds of alumni, families of current students, and community members to campus for Homecoming 2026, Oct. 16-18.
This is a milestone year for all classes ending in 6 and 1. Official Reunion Receptions will take place for the classes of 1976, OD 1986, 2006, and 2016.
All members of the university community are invited to wear their favorite red and black all weekend as we welcome home hundreds of members of the Pacific family for more than 20 events over three days.
While you may be used to receiving this information as a physical Briefing Book, we have transitioned to this web post format to save paper this year.
This post is a reference guide to help you address commonly asked questions, but we’re also available for questions by email, phone or in person. Please reach out if you need information you can’t find here and we will be happy to help.
Thank you in advance for your help this Homecoming weekend. Go Boxers!

Event Staff
The Alumni Association team is very small and reliant on the great work of alumni, employees, and student volunteers to host this incredibly special weekend.
You are invited to join the team to make Homecoming possible. Event staff shifts range from two to four hours, and primarily include setting up events, making sure the gatherings run smoothly, welcoming guests, and packing up event supplies after the event concludes.

Personal Invitations to Alumni, Friends & Community Members
All members of the Pacific family are encouraged to join us and invite all other alumni, families and friends to attend Homecoming. Please direct all potential guests to register and pay online at pacificu.edu/homecoming. Feel free to share information about Homecoming weekend through any channel you use regularly.
Homecoming Weekend Schedule
The schedule for Homecoming weekend is available online at pacificu.edu/homecoming. Most questions about the weekend can be answered by reviewing the Homecoming weekend registration and event details page. Questions can also be directed to the Alumni Association.
How to Register Yourself
Please visit pacificu.edu/homecoming to view event details, the full Homecoming schedule and register today. All events are open to staff and faculty.
To register and pay by Journal Entry (JE), please complete the Journal Voucher Entry Request Google Form. Please list each event you would like to attend and request a JE for the total cost. Funds may be transferred to 1-983-07061-7331.
Welcome Center
The Alumni Association team will host a Welcome Center for Homecoming guests in the Washburne Hall University Center on Friday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 17.
Homecoming guests are asked to check in at the Welcome Center upon their arrival on campus. Please direct any guests who look lost (or ask questions you don’t have the answer to) to the Welcome Center. During check-in, guests will collect their nametags and important event information.
The Welcome Center is will be open:
-
Friday, Oct. 16 | 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
-
Saturday, Oct. 17 | 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Event Locations
Most event locations are not published in advance to prevent confusion if locations change late in the planning process. All guests need to check in at the Welcome Center to receive important information, including a Welcome document containing information about the weekend.
If you encounter alumni or families who are confused about event locations, please direct them to the Welcome Center. If they have their Welcome document, you can show them the schedule with locations.
Parking Update for 2026
This year all Pacific University parking lots are open for guest parking, no parking pass needed! We are thankful to Campus Public Safety for collaborating on this change and helping us cut down on the time and materials that are usually used for hundreds of parking passes every year.
We have made sure to clearly note that this ONLY applies to Pacific University parking lots. All public parking rules and regulations still apply and the City of Forest Grove will enforce them as usual.
As always, the Forest Grove Aquatic Center parking lot is off-limits for Homecoming/Pacific University parking.
Lot M will also be blocked off for the Boxer Nation Tailgate Celebration.
Guests with Limited Mobility
Guests will still need to obtain an Honored Guest parking pass to park in Lot D, our reserved Limited Mobility parking lot. They can do this by noting it in their registration, emailing alumni@pacificu.edu or visiting the Welcome Center.
We hope to make the campus experience more manageable and comfortable for our guests with disabilities and limited mobility. We thank the campus community for reserving these spots for our guests with limited mobility.
All Homecoming guests may use the complimentary shuttle to be transported around campus. The shuttle can be requested at any time while events are taking place by calling 503-352-2057. Please call if you see guests who could use shuttle assistance.
Photos
Photographers will document most events at Homecoming Weekend. Those photos will be available for guests to download or print a few weeks after the event. All registered guests will receive an email with information on how to access the photos in November. Printed photos can be provided upon request for all alumni and families.
Celebrating the Class of 1976 & the Golden Guard
On Friday, Oct. 16, all members of the university community are invited to applaud the Class of 1976 and the Golden Guard as they parade from the University Center to Old College Hall. These alumni will sign their names on the sidewalk between Marsh Hall and Carnegie Hall. Please assemble outside Marsh Hall a little before 2 p.m. to prepare to applaud the group.
Athletic Event Tickets
There are four soccer games, two volleyball games and one football game happening over Homecoming weekend. Tickets for these events will be available for purchase on-site at Hanson Stadium, in the Stoller Center or online in advance. Students and employees receive a free ticket, which can be collected at the entrance. Learn more about athletic event tickets at goboxers.com.
Alumni Board of Representatives “Everybody Eats” Campaign
As part of Homecoming 2026, the Alumni Board is proud to contribute to the university’s existing efforts to support our campus food pantries, which provide essential resources to students facing food insecurity.
Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the Welcome Center or the Boxer Gardens during the Boxer Nation Celebration. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to ensuring all students have access to the support they need to thrive — on Homecoming weekend and beyond.
We encourage staff to donate to the pantries year-round, but especially during Homecoming weekend. Special requests are made for the following essentials:
- Small portions of cooking oil
- Canned proteins like tuna, chicken, or spam
- Pasta of all kinds (including gluten-free)
- Canned staples such as corn, refried beans, or peas
