Restructure of Legal Affairs and the Office of General Counsel

Body

General Counsel Jennifer Yruegas has accepted a GM role with an international organization, and her final day at Pacific was March 4, 2026. We are grateful for the leadership and expertise she brought to her various roles at Pacific, most recently focusing on the legal aspects of the proposed merger.

Peter Ricoy of Beeghly Ricoy Law Group has been retained to serve as our interim general counsel.

Peter is a seasoned healthcare attorney and former Chief Compliance Officer for PeaceHealth, a Catholic hospital system with approximately 16,000 caregivers headquartered in Vancouver, WA. He is an enthusiastic and visionary leader driving high standards of operational excellence, client service, and employee engagement. He has significant experience in providing legal services to the healthcare industry, including hospital systems, health plans, insurers, physician groups, and post-acute and long-term care facilities. He is a former partner with Oregon's second largest law firm with extensive experience in healthcare regulatory matters, insurance regulatory matters, healthcare fraud and abuse, privacy, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliation arrangements, and licensing & regulatory approvals.
