Staff Senate Nominations Extended Until April 17

Body

We recognize that our staff community is navigating a time of significant transition at the university. We want every employee interested in joining the Staff Senate to be able to run for office while knowing that some of our colleagues need time and space right now to focus on next steps.

For that reason, we are extending our timeline for Staff Senate nominations until Friday, April 17. If you are interested in serving on the Staff Senate, please nominate yourself or a peer through this short form. We understand that individual circumstances may change during this election process, and we will remain flexible because it is important that our colleagues, who want to have a voice in our campus governance process, can do so.

There are nine openings for the 2026-28 Staff Senate term. Staff are eligible to run for the Staff Senate if they are not considered faculty or administration, are benefit-eligible (.5 FTE and up), and have been employed at Pacific for at least one year.

If you have questions, please reach out to Staff Senate Parliamentarian Ren Johns at rjohns@pacificu.edu and review our Staff Senate webpages for more information.
