Undergrad students - Interested in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science? Apply for the 2026 UTSA Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates Program

The Voelcker Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a summer research experience geared towards students with strong interests in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Students interested in learning about graduate school and graduate programs are encouraged to apply!

Students will conduct research in the following focus areas:

• Medicinal Chemistry
• Preclinical Pharmacology
• Biochemistry
• Chemical Biology

This eight-week program takes place June 8, 2026 through July 31, 2026. Students can experience cutting-edge research, an outstanding research environment, and build professional development skills.
