Women's History Month Interactive Activities
As we celebrate Women’s History Month, we want to encourage you to interact with each weekly puzzle to remember the enormous and priceless contributions women have made and continue to make to our country and the world. Women's History Month is not simply a celebration, it is a reckoning with truth. The women we honor this month accomplished extraordinary things not in spite of systemic, legally codified oppression, but in direct defiance of it. They organized labor movements, litigated civil rights, built healthcare and educational infrastructure, changed music history, and ran for offices the law had never imagined them holding - often without credit, compensation, or invitation. Their grit was not merely personal character; it was collective power wielded against walls built in statute and culture alike. And the structures of dignity many of us now take for granted such as Title IX protections, workplace protections, voting rights, community health systems - stand because these women refused to accept the world as it was handed to them. To honor them fully is to name what they faced honestly, celebrate what they built anyway, and commit to carrying that unfinished work forward. Let’s celebrate women this month, and every month!
