Student Organizations: Ways to Get Involved at College
Getting involved with clubs and organizations as a student at Pacific University helps you find community, build your skills, and prepare for your career. At Pacific University, you can choose from opportunities like participating in student government, helping to plan and run student activities like open mic nights and live concerts with the ACE Board, participating in Greek Life, and performing with Speech & Debate or Music and Dance ensembles.
At Pacific, most clubs and performance ensembles don’t require you to be a major in the subject, so they’re a great way to complement your area of study by exploring a passion or interdisciplinary interest. Cultural clubs like Nā Haumāna O Hawai‘i, the Association for Latinx and Ally Students and Indigenous Student Alliance can help you find belonging and community at Pacific, while pre-professional organizations like the Pacific University Media Arts Club, Social Work Club, American Marketing Association (AMA) Club and the Pacific Index give you the opportunity to grow your skills.
