Pacific University was founded as a school for orphans, born from Tabitha Brown’s dream to create a place that would “receive all the children.” Today, we fulfill that legacy as a high-access university, empowering students to fulfill their potential and pursue their purpose in the world. As we mark our annual Charter Day, we affirm our commitment to our mission of inspiring students to think, care, create, and pursue justice in the world.
