Master of Education
The Master of Education program allows licensed teachers to deepen their expertise, earning a master's degree and specializing in one of several endorsement or certificate areas.
Professional Teaching License Program
A part-time program for practicing teachers, the PTL program allows teachers with bachelor's degrees to earn a master's or teachers with master's degrees to move from an Initial Teaching License to a Professional Teaching License.
Initial II Teaching License Program
A part-time program for practicing teachers, the Initial II Teaching License program allows teachers with a bachelor's or master's degree to renew their initial license.
Master of Arts in Education
The Master of Arts in Education program is suited for international students, experienced teachers, and liberal arts degree-holders who wish to develop expertise in curriculum development, teaching practices, and program evaluation. It does not satisfy academic requirements for an Oregon teaching license.
Master of Education/Visual Function in Learning
A program for optometrists or students in Pacific's College of Optometry, the MEd/VFL program emphasizes an understanding of vision problems as they relate to children's reading and learning processes. The program does not satisfy academic requirements for an Oregon teaching license.
