Pacific University

In the fall of 1973, on the first day of classes and during my first class, I met my future life partner at Pacific University. The course was Expository Writing, taught by Professor Susie Griffiths. Our initial assignment was to interview a classmate we did not know for 15 minutes and then write a paragraph about that person.

My husband, Bailey Muller, and I met as undergraduate Track & Field athletes at Pacific University in 2014. We married in July of 2023 and welcomed our first daughter earlier this year.
