Congratulations on being accepted to the Pacific University MBA program! We believe you will be a valuable addition to our diverse cohorts of students and dedicated staff and faculty who comprise the program.
Below are your next steps to take in order to be prepared to join your business peers this fall.
Submit Your Deposit
Confirm your intention to enroll with a $200 enrollment deposit. You may submit your deposit by check, money order, or credit card. Please submit your deposit online (establish account), by mail, phone, or at our Forest Grove Admissions Office.
Plan to attend Orientation September 10 & 11, 2021 at our Hillsboro Campus. Please prepare for with the following:
- Bring your personal computer with full Microsoft Office Suite
- Prepare to have your picture taken for your student ID
- Any required forms as communicated by the program
- A digital photo of yourself that you can use for your online interaction
Enrollment & New Student Preparation
The MBA program will enroll you in all of your classes. Once you have been enrolled in your first semester, you'll receive more information about the following:
You should receive an email from our technology services assigning you a "PUNet ID" which will allow you to log in and create your Pacific account and email address. You will need to confirm your account at least two weeks prior to your first class as to not miss important information.
If you would like to apply for federal financial aid please submit your FAFSA (FAFSA.ed.gov) to Pacific University. When receiving Financial Aid you will need to log in to Financial Aid Self Service to "Accept" your award letter. Note: be sure we have your SSN or your FAFSA will not be processed.
Purchase your Required Materials
MBA students are required to have a laptop with the most up-to-date version of Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint). We do not require any specific brand of laptop. As a student, you're eligible for discounts on technology purchases.

Health Insurance Requirement
Pacific University requires that all students have health insurance, either privately or through the University. Each year, the University automatically enrolls all students in an insurance plan through Academic Health Plans. You will have the opportunity to waive University coverage each fall by providing the Business Office with information on other health insurance coverage.
