On Monday, Pacific University joins the nation in marking Martin Luther King Jr. Day. As we celebrate the birthday of this great leader, it is an appropriate time to remember the way he called each of us to engage with one another and with our communities, to speak and act to improve lives, and to spread education and compassion.

8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Seniors in high school may attend one of these events. Attendees will earn an annual $1,000 tuition scholarship at Pacific University Oregon (total of $4,000 over 4 years). Students must apply and be admitted in order to receive the scholarship. Pacific's Senior Preview Scholarship Days provide high school seniors and their guests an opportunity to interact with the Pacific University campus and community. Throughout the day you will hear from an Admissions Counselor, meet with outstanding faculty, interact with current students and tour our beautiful campus.

9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Washburne Hall - U.C. Multipurpose Room 110 Quarterly meeting of the Pacific University staff. Meeting is staged in the MPR in Forest Grove and video conferenced to Hillsboro (ITF 132) and to the Eugene campus. Light breakfast served and English to Spanish translation provided.

12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Warner Hall Free Yoga class for all current Pacific students, faculty and staff; hosted by Pacific Intramurals & Recreation. 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Hillsboro Campus Building 2 Atrium Courtyard 175 The Interprofessional Education & Leadership Conference (IPEL) brings together practitioners, educators, leaders, and scholars from varied disciplines. Together, attendees will share ideas about interprofessional practice and leadership, and how these concepts intersect to provide a superior experience across educational settings, the community, and in the workplace. In the spirit of radical inclusion, this conference serves as an opportunity for collaboration and community building between disciplines that aren’t traditionally understood to be intertwined. Pacific University is excited to host the second year of this event, and we hope you can join us!
