Austyn Allie
Coordinator of
Clinical Education

Austyn graduated with her bachelor of arts degree from Pacific University in 2009, and joined the PA program in 2017. She splits her time between working with the Clinical Team, including international rotations, and providing administrative assistance to the PA staff and faculty. She is proud to support Pacific’s mission to inspire students to think, care, create and pursue justice in our world through her position and her additional role as Chair for the Pacific University Center for Gender Equity Advisory Board.

Lonnie Bali
Assistant Director of Clinical Recruitment

Lonnie started on the PA Clinical Team in November 2020 but has a history at Pacific University when she worked in the Graduate Admissions Office from 2007 – 2013. She assists the team in recruiting new clinic sites, maintaining current rotation affiliations and providing support wherever needed. Lonnie graduated from the University of Virginia in 2003 with a BA in Psychology. She is originally from Juneau, Alaska and hopes to expand rotation sites throughout the West Coast.

Kerryann Bouska
SAMHSA Grant Coordinator

Kerryann Bouska joined the School of Physician Assistant Studies in 2021. She brings with her 24 years of government service with frontier rural/urban counties and the Oregon Health Authority in public health and alcohol and drug misuse prevention. Along with community building, her expertise is writing, implementing and directing Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA) grants. Kerryann graduated from University of Oregon with a BA in School and Public Health.

Debby Friscia
Coordinator of
Didactic Education

Debby has been with the PA program since 1999 and is looking forward to her 20th anniversary with the program in 2019. She provides support for the didactic faculty and students as well as administrative support for the program office. She feels the best part of her job is getting to know the students of each class and then proudly watching them graduate.

Krystal Kneeland
Manager of
Administrative Services

Krystal joined the School of Physician Assistant Studies in 2012. She provides operational and administrative management for the program including budget manager responsibilities. She is the Chair of the Admissions Committee and is heavily involved in all aspects of the admissions process. She also plans and executes all major events for the School including Orientation, White Coat, and Graduation. Krystal graduated from Oregon State University, magna cum laude in 2005 with two bachelor of arts degrees: Political Science and Sociology.

Jeremy Palmer
Simulation & Standardized Patient Coordinator

Jeremy joined Pacific University in 2015. As the Simulation and Standardized Patient Coordinator, Jeremy supports the development and operation of life-like scenarios which provide a safe environment for PA students to practice their clinical and diagnostic reasoning skills. Jeremy graduated from Portland State in 2016 with a bachelor of science degree. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in healthcare administration.

Diane Van Dyke
Assistant Director of
Clinical Education

Diane joined the PA program in 2006. Diane negotiates and maintains affiliation agreements with clinical rotation sites and develops the rotation schedule for the entire clinical year. Alongside the Clinical Faculty, she analyses student patient encounters to ensure that the School continues to provide a viable rotation experience at each clinical site.
