The Student Counseling Center is offering two opportunities to visit the brand new Vanders Nook, get cozy, and explore coping with winter weather. Changes in the weather and light can have a notable impact on mental health, so the SCC in encouraging you to visit this comfy cave to explore Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) and learn about ways to manage its impacts.
We are excited to invite you to the next session of the CETCI After-Hours Pedagogy Series. On Wednesday, February 18th, from 5-6 pm, Criminal Justice, Law, & Society professor Aimee Wodda will be speaking about how she combines technology and community to create authentic, engaging learning experiences for her students. The Student Accounts office is happy to announce we are going paperless. Starting Fall 2026 all refunds and statements will be issued electronically. Make sure you are signed up for Direct Deposit and know how to view your statements online!

Youth aged 6-13 are invited to learn and play with female student-athletes at this FREE event in the Stoller Center. Come learn a new skill or play what you already love! All participants will receive a free t-shirt and tickets to the women's basketball game at 3:00pm. Pacific JV softball will also be playing at noon and 2:00pm.

Don’t forget to register your social accounts! If you have already registered a university-affiliated social media account this academic year, but have not responded to the additional questions via email, please do so to help the university ensure legal compliance and to assess needs for training, support and infrastructure. All university-affiliated social media accounts — including platforms like TikTok — must be registered.
Join staff from the Student Counseling Center and be trained in Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), a nationally recognized suicide prevention training. This empirically-validated training will equip you to recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communication of people at risk as well as gain the skills to act and help save a life.
All students are invited to attend upcoming student forums to learn more about a potential merger between Pacific University and Willamette University. A graduated student forum will be held Feb. 10, and an undergraduate forum will be held Feb. 12.
