The B Street Farm project site is located on a Metro-owned property less than a mile from the Pacific University campus in Forest Grove, near the B Street bridge over Gales Creek.

The B Street Farm, formerly known as the B Street Living Museum, is an emerging grassroots organization and demonstration site whose mission is to provide inspiration and information about environmentally sensitive, sustainable living practices for Pacific University students, city residents, local schools and other Forest Grove community members. Site projects engage participants in community building, research, and demonstration for the purpose of providing the impetus for sustainable practices in the Forest Grove community in accordance with permaculture principles and ethics.

The purpose of the B Street Advisory Council is to provide guidance and feedback regarding programming and utilization of space at the B Street Farm for Applied Sustainability. The current council roster represents various stakeholders for the B Street facility, including faculty, staff, and students of Pacific University, local organizations and community members, and other partners with an interest in sustainability education, permaculture, and/or food systems. The council is asked to listen to and honor student voice, in balance with other interests in the program.
