Trained web editors have access to add and update a variety of other parts of the website. Web editors and others may request publication of a new page, deletion of a page, or a content update on an existing page, as well as assistance in strategizing content, navigation and search engine optimization of a section of the website. MarCom also manages mass email communications to students, employees, alumni and donors. Mass emails are governed by the mass communication policy and are carefully scheduled for consistent and effective engagement of our constituents. Please plan well in advance to allow for scheduling of your email campaign. You may submit content for potential inclusion in Pacific's weekly employee and student e-newsletters, as well as monthly parent and community e-newsletters. Marketing & Communications manages the primary Pacific University accounts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. All unit/program-specific accounts used for Pacific University purposes must be approved by MarCom. Learn More

Marketing & Communications’ creative and design teams maintain a strong visual and messaging identity for Pacific University. Our focus is on materials that reach external audiences, such as advertising and marketing materials for student recruitment, brand awareness and signature university events. However, we also provide guidance and templates for internal marketing pieces as well. Options may include print publications, signage, branded product and more.
