Outdoor Pursuits will be offering outdoor equipment rental services and day trips to Pacific students, and non-students this spring. We ask that you review the other information, including the updated rental reservations, pick up, and return procedures, prior to making a reservation.

Celebrate Spring Semester with Outdoor Pursuits

As the spring semester winds down, join Outdoor Pursuits in one of their final excursions of the season! Relax before finals or celebrate the end of finals. Grab a friend and join OP staff for memorable, fun-filled days, out on the water, or on land! Outdoor excursions and day trips are still in full swing.

Dive into a day of salt, surf and seriously rad people! On Sunday, May 2 participate in a Surfing Day Trip. Whether you're testing the water for the first time or are ready to hang ten from the start, join Outdoor Pursuits for a day of frolicking on the Oregon Coast at Oswald West State Park. Calling all women and female identifying individuals. Grab a paddle, a PFD (personal flotation device) and get ready for some serious fun on Saturday, May 1 for our all women sea kayaking daytrip. Instructors well-versed in paddle technique and boat etiquette will lead you through a day of exploration and non-stop fun. This trip lead by women, for women, will explore the beautiful Scappoose Bay, just a short drive from Pacific University. In a day dedicated to getting women outside, participants are sure to gain new paddling skills and leave feeling empowered. Reserve your spot today.

Learn how to apply first aid and CPR skills in the backcountry during our Wilderness First Aid certification course. Participants will gain firsthand experience in responding to medical, environmental and traumatic emergencies in the outdoors and get your CPR certification. The course runs all day May 13-14. Grab a friend and register before spots are filled. 

And don't forget to swing by the Outdoor Pursuits Office any weekday to rent gear for your own individualized outdoor experience. Instructors can help you select and rent the best gear for your day or overnight excursion.
