Pacific University is pleased to welcome Helen Howell as its new director for Human Resources. Howell joined the Pacific community on Dec. 1, 2021.
The grant will support Dr. Mike Espiritu’s work to determine the structure-activity relationship of a cone snail toxin called MIIIB with voltage gated potassium channels. These small peptide toxins are known as “conotoxins.”

COVID-19 Vaccine & Booster Clinics
Pacific University is partnering with the Oregon Health Authority and FEMA to bring a COVID-19 vaccination and booster shot clinic to Forest Grove. All approved vaccine options, including first, second and booster doses, for those ages 5 and up will be available.
