The Pacific University Band Project is a partnership between undergraduate music education students learning how to teach, and Forest Grove School District students learning how to play woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. This unique field-experience for undergraduate music education students provides them opportunities to observe highly trained public school music educators and develop their ability to lead students in a live teaching setting, all under the guidance and supervision of their primary music education professor.
