  • Spring 2026
    • Spring Term Classes Begin: January 26, 2026
      For undergraduate students.
    • Meal Plan Change Period: January 26 - February 6, 2026
      Students with meal plans can complete a form to swap their current meal plan to a comparable meal plan.
    • Pick Your Place Room Selection: February - April
      Room reservation and selection process for current students to select housing for following academic year.
    • New Student Housing Applications open: Late February
      Students who have deposited for Pacific for Fall 2026 can begin to complete their housing application.
    • Dining Closes for Spring Break: March 20, 2026
      Meal service closes after dinner.
    • Spring Break: March 21 - 29, 2026
      Campus housing is open with limited meal service. Regular meal service resumes with dinner on Sunday, March 29.
    • Move-Out Plans Form Deadline: April 24, 2026
      Deadline for students to sign up for move-out.
    • Finals: May 7-9, 11-12, 2026
      Spring term final exams for undergraduate students.
    • Dining Closes for the Academic Year: May 12, 2026
      Meal service closes after dinner. All remaining spring meal plan swipes and Declining Balances will expire.
    • Housing Closes for the Academic Year: May 13, 2026
      Campus housing closes at 12 p.m. Students approved for limited late stays may remain after this date.
    • Commencement: May 16, 2026
      For undergraduate and graduate students.
    • Late Stay Move-Out Deadline: May 17, 2026
      Students approved for late stays move out by 12 p.m.

    • Required Early Move-Ins: Select dates in August, TBA
      Pre-approved, required early housing move-ins for athletics or other approved activities. Schedule varies; programs/coaches will share details with involved students.
    • Optional Early Move-Ins: Select dates in August, TBA
      Optional early housing check-ins. Students may choose to arrive during these times without needing pre-approval.
    • Official Move-In Day!: August 28, 2026
      Official housing move-in, 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Required for new undergraduate students, optional for returning and professional students. New Student Orientation begins! Student meal plans begin.
    • Additional Move-In Days: August 29-30, 2026
      Returning and professional students can arrive and check into housing, 9am-4pm via the UC info desk. New Student Orientation continues.
    • First Day of Fall Classes: August 31, 2026
      For undergraduates and some graduate programs.
    • Meal Plan Change Period: August 31 - September 11, 2026
      Students with meal plans can complete a form to swap their current meal plan to a comparable meal plan.
    • Labor Day Holiday: September 7, 2026
      No classes held. Dining follows weekend schedule.
    • Spring Housing Application Opens: October 2, 2026
      Application for Spring Housing assignments becomes available on eRezLife.
    • Fall Break: October 2, 2026
      No classes held for undergraduates. Dining follows weekend schedule.
    • Veteran's Day Holiday: November 11, 2026
      No classes held. Dining follows weekend schedule.
    • Winter Housing Plans Form Deadline: November 20, 2026
      Deadline for all residential students to report winter/spring housing plans. Check out plans for students withdrawing, studying abroad in winter/spring, or graduating are established.
    • Dining Closes for Thanksgiving: November 24, 2026
      Meal service closes after dinner on Nov. 24.
    • Thanksgiving Break: November 25 - 29, 2026
      Campus housing remains open. No meal service. No meal service until dinner on Sunday, Nov. 29.
    • Finals: December 10-11, 14-16, 2026
      Fall term final exams for undergraduate students.
    • Dining Closes for Winter Break: December 16, 2026
      Meal service closes after dinner. Regular meal service resumes with dinner on Jan. 1.
    • Housing Closes for Winter Break: December 17, 2026
      Campus housing closes at 10 a.m. for the holiday break. Students who are withdrawing, studying abroad or graduating check out of housing by 10 a.m. Halls reopen January 3 at 12 p.m. Health & Safety inspections of each room are completed by staff.
    • Winter Break Housing: December 17, 2026 - January 3, 2027
      Winter Break housing (application approval required.) No meal service.
  • Winter 2027
    • Housing Reopens: January 3, 2027
      Housing reopens at 12 pm. Regular meal service resumes with dinner.
    • Winter Term 4-Credit Classes Begin: January 4, 2027
      For undergraduate students.
    • Winter Term 2-Credit Classes Begin: January 8, 2027
      For undergraduate students.

"Limited Meal Service" means that the Cafe is closed, the coffee shop and Market may be open with limited hours. Boxer Bucks and Declining Balance are accepted at these locations, but no Block meal swipes.
