We regularly offer workshops for the Pacific University community focused on mental health, adjustment and developmental topics. These are designed to help students learn skills and strategies related to well-being in an easily-accessible format, such as Mindful Coping, Wise Mind, QPR suicide prevention trainings, and UC tabling events. QPR, or Question, Persuade, and Refer, trainings teach participants to recognize the warning signs, clues, and suicidal communication of people in trouble and gain skills to act and help save a life. Registration required for upcoming QPR trainings.

Staff from the Student Counseling Center enjoy connecting with our Pacific community in many ways, including facilitating mental health-related workshops. Fill out our Community Engagement Request Form using the button below so that we can collaborate with you. Please note that because of the high clinical demand at our center, we need at least two weeks’ notice to schedule an event. All requests are subject to approval by SCC staff and not all requests can be accommodated. We look forward to working with you!
