U.S. News: Pacific is Among Best National Universities

Pacific University is one of the best values in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 rankings.

The news organization ranks universities in categories based on their size and programming. Pacific is among the National Universities designation, which includes schools that offer a full range of undergraduate majors, plus master’s and PhD programs. That puts Pacific alongside peers like Harvard, as well as most large public universities.

Pacific tied for 187th overall among all National Universities in the country, among a field of about 400 ranked schools, making it the top private Oregon university in the field.

Pacific also tied at No. 91 Best Value Schools in the country, among the National Universities category — the top ranking in Oregon and the only Oregon private university on the list.

U.S. News & World Report’s rankings also identify top schools in a number of other categories. Pacific tied for 136th in the country among “Best Colleges for Veterans.”
