Associate Vice President, Marketing & Communications

Jenni Luckett is the associate vice president for Marketing & Communications. She joined the Pacific University staff in 2011 as senior writer and editor of Pacific magazine and now leads the 10-person MarCom staff with an expertise in journalism and storytelling, design, and communication strategy. Graphic Designer

Alex works on a wide range of projects including web design, general branding for the university and clinics, large event collateral, email marketing design, registration and giving form design, outdoor advertising, display advertising, print advertising, brochures, rack cards, posters, self mailers, book covers and postcards.

Robbie Bourland
Manager of Multimedia

Robbie Bourland specializes in visual multimedia and is a producer, videographer and photographer. He is the manager of multimedia for Pacific University and part of the Marketing and Communications team.

Assistant Director of Marketing

Adam is responsible for branded product, Facebook advertising, and some graphic design. If you don’t know whom to ask, Adam is happy to direct your requests to the correct team member.

Mike Francis
Assistant Director of Communications

Mike joined the Marketing and Communications team in 2018 after working as a journalist at various outlets, including the (Bend) Bulletin, the Kansas City Star, KINK-FM and The Business Journal of Portland. He spent more than 20 years at The Oregonian in Portland, where his work included three stints as an embedded reporter in Iraq. Creative Director

Joyce Gabriel is the Creative Director of Pacific University's Office of Marketing & Communications. Joyce's expertise lies in print design, university look & feel and acting as an idea resource. Contact her if you're seeking guidance on design work, information about the university brand.

Kayla Green
Assistant Director of Communications, Social Media

Kayla Green manages social media and email communications for Pacific University and is part of the Office of Marketing and Communications. She joined the staff in 2018 after running social media for high-tech companies, Google and Adobe, in San Francisco. Web Coordinator

Kallen specializes in online content management, website strategy and information architecture. She manages the Pacific University website and provides training and resources for university employees with web editing responsibilities. Director of Media Relations

Joe Lang is the university’s primary liaison to reporters and editors at news agencies across all mediums, including print (newspapers/periodicals/industry publications), broadcast (television/radio) and web-based news organizations.
