Apply to Graduate
All students must apply for graduation. Apply through BoxerOnline by Jan. 15 to participate in the May ceremony. (It’s not too late — if you missed the deadline, be sure to complete the form online immediately!)
Complete Your Degree Requirements
The Registrar’s Office reviews your degree requirements after you apply to graduate and contacts your program director if there are concerns. If you are currently taking courses at another institution to complete your degree, or if you have any questions about completing degree requirements, contact the Registrar’s Office at 503-352-2793 or email@example.com.
Order Your Regalia
Graduates participating in the Commencement Ceremony must wear academic regalia. Regalia orders are available at the Countdown to Graduation event in February in the University Center and through the Bookstore. Orders placed after April 5, 2019, will be charged a $15 late fee. Undergraduates: Only academic honor cords are allowed to be worn with regalia. Honor cords will be distributed to graduating undergraduates as they line up prior to the ceremony. Questions? - Graduate announcements are available for purchase through CB Grad Announcements.
- Diploma Frames may be purchased through Framing Success.
- Class rings are available through Balfour.
Settle Your Accounts
All student accounts must be paid in full before you graduate. If you anticipate an outstanding balance after you graduate, please contact the Business Office to make arrangement for payment. Students with outstanding balances after graduation cannot receive their diplomas or transcripts. Students who receive federal student loans also must complete exit interviews before graduating or leaving campus. The Financial Aid Office will contact you to set up an appointment.

No tickets are required for Pacific University Commencement. Invite your guests and provide them with this link to all the important details for the day!
Plan Your Week
Show Up Ready to Walk
Assemble in the Fieldhouse in the Stoller Center. All students should arrive in cap and gown. Graduate & professional students: Hoods should be carried, not worn. Staff from the Registrar’s Office will line you up for the processional. Undergraduates need to arrive by 8:30 a.m. Graduate & professional students need to arrive by 12:30 p.m. Bring a reusable water bottle to fill prior to the ceremony — but little else. You may carry water bottles into the stadium; there is not a secure location to leave other personal items.
After the Ceremony
There will be a dessert reception for graduates and their guests in the University Center following each ceremony.
