Graduation Checklist | May Commencement

Apply to Graduate

All students must apply for graduation. Apply through BoxerOnline by Jan. 15 to participate in the May ceremony.

APPLY TO GRADUATE

Complete Your Degree Requirements

The Registrar’s Office reviews your degree requirements after you apply to graduate and contacts your program director if there are concerns. If you are currently taking courses at another institution to complete your degree, or if you have any questions about completing degree requirements, contact the Registrar’s Office at 503-352-2793 or registrar@pacificu.edu.

Order Your Regalia

Academic regalia is available for purchase online through the University Bookstore. Enter your program to find the right regalia for your program and degree — and order online to have regalia shipped to the location of your choice. For assistance with your order, please contact the University Bookstore at bookstore@pacificu.edu or at 503-352-2224. The deadline to place your order is April 10, 2024. If you are eligible to wear a gold honor cord for Latin Honors, you will be contacted by the Registrar's Office to pick it up at the appropriate time before commencement.

Order Regalia

Graduates who would like to wear regalia or regalia accent pieces that honor their cultural heritage are encouraged to do so. If you have questions about the different parts of your regalia and how they are worn? Be sure to check out the Guide to Pacific Commencement Regalia video.

Student organizations may choose to recognize graduating seniors with special accessories to wear with their regalia, such as cords, stoles, or pins. If your organization is interested in cords, stoles, or pins, please contact the University Bookstore at bookstore@pacificu.edu or at 503-352-2224 for assistance.

Graduates, if you're looking for a resource to enable your grad cap to fit securely with your hairstyle or abilities (such as cochlear implants), Grad Cap Remix offers some options to consider.
