The Intramurals and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the launch of a new video series — Cooking with a Boxer. The idea is to build community across campus, give people new meal ideas and simply have fun cooking!
This year our American Physical Therapy Association - National Conference (Combined Sections Meeting) will be held virtually for the first time during the month of February.  Pacific University is well represented at CSM 2021.  Core faculty, adjunct faculty, and alumna from the Physical Therapy Program are presenting their scholarship in a variety of formats.

The Hoʻomau Celebration will feature music, hula, and memories from current students, parents, and alumni. We invite alumni and parents to share their memories or performances for this special event.

Pacific University's Forest Grove Campus is announcing its decision to remain test optional beyond Fall 2021, offering undergraduate applicants the choice to include standardized test scores as part of their application. 
Keli Bruehling BEd '22
As the parent of five, Keli Bruehling BEd ’22 already knows she loves kids. But balancing that family with a job and a college education? That would take love and dedication. Bruehling is in her first year of the Pacific University School of Learning & Teaching bachelor of education program in Roseburg, Ore. “I quickly learned that my family, my employer, my professors and my cohort make an amazing support system and they want to help me succeed,” she said.
Luis Garcia Angeles MAT '22
A first-generation college student, Garcia Angeles started his life in a farming community in Mexico. When he was 9, he moved with his family — his “amazing parents who have only a third- and sixth-grade education” — to Oregon, where he started fourth grade as an English language learner. Now, as the first in his family to attend and graduate college, he is pursuing his master of arts in teaching at Pacific, planning to work at a Title I school in or near Hillsboro.

Public Health Update
Washington County moves into "moderate risk" category, triggering some changes in campus protocols. But overall guidance remains for social gatherings, mask requirements, and more. “I know people are tired. They want to get back to life, to normal. But we’re not there yet," said CDC Director Rochelle Walensky. "Please stay strong in your conviction.”
Pacific University’s Department of Theatre & Dance presents Alice Birch’s darkly funny and dreamlike play, Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again., performing March 11-14 outdoors on the Forest Grove Campus.
