At the start of August (well actually July 31) we welcomed a new cohort of Three-Year PharmD Students, our first ever cohort of Five-Year PharmD Students and Stand-alone MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences students!

CHP Student Volunteers at the Youth Games
A group of 40+ students from Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Associates Studies and Audiology came together to provide medical coverage for the 2023 Youth Games which was held at the Nike campus in Beaverton. During this event the team provided care for over 500 Special Olympic athletes.

Lena Cavusoglu, assistant professor of Marketing, has co-authored a chapter in the Handbook of Research on Ethnic and Intra-cultural Marketing. The chapter critically examines how Western beauty ideals in the fashion industry impact women of color.
Around the World is an event celebrating all of the cultural diversity on our campus.  Dinner service that evening in the UC will be open to all, meal plan or no meal plan, and will feature food from all over the world. Plus enjoy performances from cultural clubs and traditional games!
Have you talked to your faculty advisor lately? For most of us, the answer is probably “no.”  Some of us barely talk to our spouses, children, or parents! My faculty advisor hasn’t worked at Pacific for over a decade (I’m talking about you, Kenny Jackson).  We get a newsletter once in a while (like now…).  
The Northwest Experiential Consortium (NWPEC) is made up of seven pharmacy programs located in the Northwest Region and includes (Pacific University, Oregon State University, University of Washington, Washington State, University of Montana, University of Wyoming, and Idaho State University).
