Transfer Students

*You are considered a transfer student if you have previously attended a college or university and have been out of high school for at least one year.

New transfer students will meet with an advisor 1-on-1 this summer beginning in June to register for classes. Virtual and in-person appointments are available. After you complete the New Transfer Student Steps, an advisor will email you to schedule your Advising & Registration meeting. Refer to New Transfer Students and Preparing for Your Advising Day for your next steps.

First Year Students (coming right from high school*)

*You are considered a first year student if you graduated high school in spring even if you have earned college credit or have an associate's degree.

Your Academic & Career Advising Day will start with a live, interactive presentation to guide you through Pacific's degree requirements and strategies for planning your first semester classes. Then, you will meet one-on-one with an advisor to register for classes based on your unique academic and/or career interests.

The rest of the Advising & Registration Day will be an open house where you will have an opportunity to meet with other offices on campus, learn about resources and opportunities to look forward to at Pacific, ask questions, and get to meet other new Pacific students!

Signing Up for Your Advising & Registration Day

Once you have completed the new first year student steps, you will receive an email to sign up for one Advising & Registration Day. You can choose either virtual (Zoom) or in-person (in Forest Grove). The virtual and in-person experiences will be equitable, so you can choose whichever option is most convenient for you.
