The mission of Pacific University is to inspire students who think, care, create, and pursue justice in the world. At Pacific magazine, our mission is to share the stories of the people who live out that mission every day.

We hope that the stories you read, the pictures you see, the videos you watch, and the conversations you engage in — both in the printed magazine and online — help bring a piece of Pacific University into your home.

Pacific magazine has a new look, as of January 2025! Our redesigned magazine now publishes two print editions each year — one in January and one in July. The magazine mails to our alumni, families, and friends. Update your contact information to be sure you don’t miss an issue!

Let your classmates and friends know what's up with a submission to the class notes section of Pacific magazine. These items are published in the print issue of Pacific magazine to highlight the news and accomplishments of members of the Pacific family. Submit a class note online.

We also publish obituaries for alumni and friends who have passed. A listing of recently deceased Pacific family members is published in each print edition, and full submitted obituaries are published online quarterly. Share obituaries at classnotes@pacificu.edu.
