Welcome to Pacific University!

We are thrilled to welcome you to our vibrant community as the newest members of Boxer Nation! New Student Orientation (NSO) is designed to help you transition smoothly into university life and feel right at home at Pacific.

Orientation is required for all new and transfer undergraduate students and includes a wide range of activities—from welcomes by campus leaders and academic overviews to small-group sessions with Orientation Leaders and opportunities to make connections with classmates. Please review the schedule below and take note of important dates and events.

Fall Orientation 2026

Friday, August 28 – Sunday, August 30, 2026
Forest Grove Campus

The full Orientation schedule will be available online in mid-to-late June. Keep a close eye on your Pacific University email for additional details and updates!

Early Move-In Dates for Specific Groups

Details regarding early move-in schedules for specific groups, including student-athletes, can be found on the Early Arrival Orientation Schedule page. Additional communications will come directly by coaches and the Orientation Team.
