The Student Counseling Center at Pacific University provides a range of services focused on the mental health needs of Pacific students. The SCC strives to support students in reaching their academic potential by focusing on intellectual, emotional, social and cultural development.
Currently enrolled students are eligible for counseling services. Up to 10 sessions per year (July-June) are subsidized by tuition, and are provided at no additional cost. Extended service fees (>10 sessions per year) are $15 per session.

Resilience is the ability to withstand stress and is a significant factor in maintaining your mental and physical health. Increase resilience to keep functioning well, even when you experience stress, frustration, loss, anxiety, depression, or even trauma. Learn and practice new mental health fitness skills weekly with members of the Student Counseling clinical staff.
Oasis (Relaxation and Meditation Space) Clark Hall 124
Oasis is a space for students, staff, and faculty of Pacific University to practice and experience self-care in a unique sanctuary for soothing mind, body and spirit. Relax in a full body massage chair, listen to soothing music, take advantage of the benefits of a therapeutic light, or use biofeedback technology to help alleviate stress or anxiety. The key to Oasis can be checked out through the Student Life front desk in Clark Hall on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 45 minutes, and is available evenings during Clark Hall desk hours. Use of Oasis is self-directed, but if you’d like an orientation to the resources offered please stop by or call the Campus Wellness office (Clark 124B or 125; 503-352-2273). Please note that you will be asked to leave an ID at the desk in exchange for the key.
