Helen Sharp
Dr. Helen Sharp has received the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA)’s 2020 Distinguished Service Award. Sharp, who is a professor and director of the Pacific University School of Communication Sciences and Disorders, is a past president of the organization and a member since 1988. The Distinguished Service Award recognizes individual service to the ACPA.

Pacific will waive application fees for Concordia students. Undergraduates in good standing at Concordia, as well as accepted incoming undergrads, will be accepted for admission and will qualify for merit scholarships from $12,000 to $24,000 per year.

Katie Felix '01 became an HP Teaching Fellow, a position that will help her teach young students about the importance and usage of technology. 
Nathan Stanley '97, MAT '98 was hired as the new athletic director for Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He was hired over the summer and in the process became the school's fourth athletic director in six years. Stanley is also the assistant principal at Lakeridge.  
LCC and Pacific officials sign partnership agreement
Pacific will move its Eugene Campus teaching and social work programs to facilities at LCC, enhancing pathways and support systems for students.
