Todd Hamilton MAT ’95 was recently chosen by the Springfield (Ore.) School Board of Education to be the next superintendent of Springfield Public Schools.
Christina “Christy” Aleckson ’95 was selected as one of the Portland Business Journal’s 2019 Women of Influence Award winners.
William Alton ’95, MFA ’07 released his most recent book, The Tragedy of Being Happy, published by Pact Press this last January.
Michael Kimber ’94, Daniel Carstens ’95 and Christopher Perk ’97 were inducted into the Alaska Wrestling Hall of Fame on Dec. 15, 2018, following the Alaska State Wrestling Tournament.

It was April 29, 1994. During their 8 a.m health class, Tracy with her usual blue ball cap pulled down over her sleepy eyes, was talking about going water skiing that afternoon with mutual friends, mostly fellow wrestlers.

Zoey Mendoza Zimmerman '95 lived through the worst a parent can imagine. In 2010, her husband shot and killed their two children and then himself. In the past five years, she has struggled to live with grief and open her heart to the future— while holding on to her children's memories and helping other grieving parents do the same.
