In Memoriam: Karen Jaggar PT '83 passed away at the age of 59 on November 20, 2019. Jaggar graduated from Pacific with a BS in science, Physical Therapy, and was awarded the President's Award of Highest Academic Achievement.
William Scott Poxon
In Memory: William Scott Poxon '83 passed away on Aug. 30, 2019 at the age of 61. He was prided on providing excellent optometric care and making himself available both day and night for his patients.
Larry and Kathy Wan
Larry and Kathy met in 1977 as freshmen at Pacific University. They had several core classes together, and would often spend time with a group of mutual friends. During their sophomore year, Larry asked Kathy to study for a library skills test that was part of their writing course. They didn’t end up studying at all that evening but that night they began their decades-long relationship.

Curtis Baxstrom ’83, OD ’84 received the 2018 G.N. Getman Award by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
Hannu Laukkanen ’83, OD ’84, MED ’94 joined the advisory board of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association in October.
