Center for Gender Equity
The mission of the Center for Gender Equity is to promote equity around gender and sexuality, for Pacific students and the surrounding communities, through support services, education, and activism.
We provide support services and a sense of connection and belonging to Pacific students, focusing specifically, but not exclusively, on issues of sex and gender.
We provide educational programming to the campus and wider community on issues related to gender equity.
We strive to dismantle the systems of oppression that perpetuate gender inequity through coalition building and collective action.
The Center for Gender Equity (CGE) is open to everyone on Pacific University’s campuses and in the community, regardless of gender. We seek opportunities to cooperate with any group, as long as that collaboration furthers the mission of CGE.
Pacific University's Queer Coalition is interested in hosting a Lavender Graduation ceremony to honor the contributions and academic achievements of queer students, however they may identify. Please fill out a survey and share your interest in this virtual event..
