Center for Gender Equity

The Center for Gender Equity promotes equity for marginalized sexual and gender identities through activism, education, and support. The CGE is committed to promoting social health and wellness at Pacific University. We strive help students find LGBTQ+ community on campus, develop emotional intelligence, cultivate healthy relationships, and prevent interpersonal violence.

Headlines

The Center for Gender Equity at Pacific University is proud to offer a new Queer & Trans mentorship program for LGBTQ+ students attending Pacific University. 

Girls Today is a one-day conference devoted to middle-school aged young women with the goal of empowering young women to make educated, thoughtful and healthy decisions for themselves and their communities. Register to participate or facilitate a workshop. 

When Title IX was enacted into law in 1972, few at Pacific University seemed to take notice. But it's clear in retrospect that the world of higher education had changed.
