Pete Truax ’83, mayor of Forest Grove and long-time city councilman, received an honor from the Oregon League of Cities at its 97th annual conference in Bend, Ore. 
Juno Apalla ’11 recently joined the March of Dimes Greater Oregon team in May 2022 as Donor Development Manager II. 
Annie Lewis ’03 stepped into the role of deputy director of Multnomah County Library on Oct. 1, 2022. Lewis formerly held the positions of Gresham Library supervisor Spanish youth librarian at Fairview-Columbia Library. 
Nicole Nowlin ’11 was featured in a KGW8 article on Sept. 22, 2022 for donating a kidney to a distant family member. Nowlin, who studied Business Administration at Pacific and now resides in Hillsboro, donated a kidney to her second cousin, Brandy Carrico, whom she connected with through Facebook. 
Science fiction author Kate Sheeran Swed MFA ’14 writes books about reckless heroines and messy adventures, centering stories that question how today's actions will impact future generations.
