Boxers are helpers. This year, Boxers have embraced their communities, whether they are fighting wildfires or fighting homelessness.
When wildfires rampaged through Oregon, some students took direct action. By doing so, they helped keep some homes and structures from being destroyed. Then they went back to their classes.

Dr. Fraser Horn
Dr. Horn has served as interim dean since November 2019. He is an alumnus of Pacific's undergraduate programs and College of Optometry, has served as faculty and associate dean in the college, and is an expert is sports vision.
Pacific optometry alumnus and professor Bill Hefner OD ‘96, MEd ‘97 is a commander in the Kansas Air National Guard. He played a key role in the state’s response to the spread of COVID-19.
The results are in, and Pacific’s first Athletic Giving Days was a homerun, a touchdown, and a winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, all rolled into one!

On Facebook, Spanish-language viewers anywhere in the world can join sessions of Charlas Comunitarias to learn about emotional health and resources. The program is led partly by  Ruth Zúñiga, an associate professor in School of Graduate Psychology at Pacific University and director of the university’s Sabiduría Latina/o psychology emphasis.
