The Pacific University Chamber Singers got together — virtually — over the summer to perform A Jubilant Day

Professor William Todd Schultz teaches psychology at Pacific University and has an interest in what makes creative people tick. He has created a playlist which emanates emotional honesty and a level of mild melancholy with moments of hope that some have perhaps been feeling throughout this pandemic.

Aaron Greer teaches anthropology at Pacific University and has given a couple of PUB Night lectures with the Alumni Association. He teaches a course in Pop culture at Pacific and is known to have quite the passion for music, often referencing his vast collection in class. Frances Clapp
Frances Clapp ’08 — that is, 1908 — was a revered figure from the turn of the last century. She was a skilled pianist who appeared in many musical programs from the era, playing Chopin, Beethoven, Grieg, Rubinstein, Bach and other composers.

Eric Asakawa '15 played the starring role of Ren is the Broadway Rose production of "Footloose" this summer. 
Music in May Concert
The concert is a culmination of three days of fun, yet intense, instruction and practice for aspiring young musicians under the direction of distinguished music faculty.
Pacific will host a high school chamber ensembles contest on Friday, April 26 and a high school musician solo competition on Saturday, April 27.
