Pacific University is committed to offering our rigorous and personally meaningful academic programs for students this fall. As Oregon prepares to gradually reopen in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are implementing Gov. Brown’s plan by exploring every option to ensure that our students experience a Pacific education while staying safe and healthy.
We know many students and families are worried about how the 2020 spring semester of your high school senior year will affect your application to Pacific. Please be assured that here at Pacific we do holistic admissions reviews, which means we take all of your experience, grades (including pass/fail), test scores, essay, recommendations and circumstances into account. We understand that many of you have been unable to take or re-take your SAT/ACT exams so we are making the SAT/ACT test optional for your application this fall.
Stay connected with your Admissions Counselor and let them know what you need or if you have ANY questions. We know many of these circumstances are out of your control and are committed to working with you.
Become a Boxer Today | Pacific University uses the Common Application exclusively for undergraduate admissions. Students wishing to apply to Pacific should submit the Common Application. Admitted students can pay their deposit online to commit to Pacific University.
Pacific will waive application fees for Concordia students. Undergraduates in good standing at Concordia, as well as accepted incoming undergrads, will be accepted for admission and will qualify for merit scholarships from $12,000 to $24,000 per year.
Andy Isokpehi is an international student from Nigeria studying marketing at the College of Business at Pacific University Oregon. As a transfer student, he will only be spending 2 years with us, but during that time he has been active in professional development activities with the COB’s Placement Services, completed a marketing internship, and he plays for the Boxer’s Men’s basketball team.
